Tree care in Austin
Austin is our largest service area, and it's about as varied as tree work gets. In older central neighborhoods like Hyde Park, Travis Heights and Clarksville, the challenge is access — mature pecans and live oaks growing between a house and a fence with barely a wheelbarrow's width to work in. Those trees come down or get pruned in sections, roped and lowered rather than dropped, and that is routine work for our crew.
West of MoPac and out toward the hill country edge, we're mostly working with big live oaks and Ashe juniper on thin limestone soil. Out east and south, it's more cedar elm, hackberry and fast-growing shade trees that need regular structural pruning to stop them tearing themselves apart in a summer thunderstorm.
Oak wilt is a real concern throughout Travis County, so we time oak pruning to the safe windows and paint fresh cuts as a matter of course rather than as an upsell. If you have red oaks or live oaks and you're unsure when they should be touched, ask us — we'll give you a straight answer even if it means telling you to wait a few months.
Whatever the job, estimates are free, and every quote includes hauling the debris away. Nothing gets left in a pile at the curb.
