Question 1

Do you charge for estimates?

Accepted Answer

No. Estimates are always free and there's no obligation. We come out, walk the property, and give you a written price for the work before anything starts. We also take 10% off every job, and repeat customers get 15% off.

Question 2

How fast can you get here for an emergency?

Accepted Answer

Our line is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For active hazards — a tree on a roof, a limb on a power drop, a driveway blocked — we prioritize the call and get a crew moving as soon as we can. Call (512) 679-3463 any time, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Question 3

Do you haul away the branches and logs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it's included in the quoted price rather than billed separately. We chip the brush, load the wood, rake the work area and blow down the driveway before we leave. If you'd like the logs cut to firewood length and left, just say so — we're happy to do that instead.

Question 4

When is it safe to trim oak trees in Central Texas?

Accepted Answer

Avoid pruning oaks between February and June, when the beetles that spread oak wilt are most active. The safest windows are the coldest part of winter and the hottest part of summer. If an oak has to be cut outside those windows because it's a genuine hazard, we paint the wound immediately and sterilize tools between trees.

Question 5

What areas do you cover?

Accepted Answer

We're based in Del Valle and work throughout the Austin metro and surrounding Central Texas — including Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, Leander, Pflugerville, Kyle, Buda, Bastrop, Dripping Springs, Manor, Hutto, Lakeway and Killeen. If your address isn't on the list, ask — we'll tell you straight away whether we can get to you.

Question 6

Can you save my tree instead of removing it?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes. A lot of trees people assume need removing just need deadwood cleared, a canopy thinned, or better watering. We'll tell you honestly which situation you're in, even when the removal would pay us more. If it genuinely has to come down, we'll explain why.

Question 7

Do you do fence work as well as trees?

Accepted Answer

Yes — new fence installation, repairs and full replacements. It matters most when a tree has come down across a fence line, because we can clear the tree and rebuild the fence on the same visit rather than you coordinating two separate crews around one insurance claim.

Question 8

Will you damage my yard getting the equipment in?

Accepted Answer

We plan access before we start and mat or pad where it's needed. In tight backyards and on steep lots we climb and rig the tree down in sections rather than bringing equipment in at all. Protecting the property is part of the job, not an extra.
